So back before Mother's Day, I made the "Mom" sample for a MNT class I had. I only had one daughter and her mother attend, but Abby had SO much fun making this notepad with matching pen and a coordinating gift bag to hold it (her mom had fun making a separate card too). I had a few extra supplies, so I made some additional ones for my hostess gifts. Anyway, I FINALLY gave the "Mom" one to my Mom today, so now I can post it. :)
Synod Assembly went well today. We got to see a lot of friends whom we hadn't seen in a while. There was a lovely reception for rostered clergy and spouses, and then another reception to recognize those clergy celebrating anniversaries of ordination. We thought they were also going to introduce those new to the synod (which would have included Michael), but they didn't. Oh well. Since we are childless for the weekend, we left the reception and went on a date to see the new Indiana Jones movie. It was great to have a night to ourselves, and the movie was good too. Well, we've got a very full day tomorrow, so I should get to bed.
Sweet wishes!
