Kathy's workshop

This evening I had a workshop for a group of ladies who get together the first and third Tuesdays of the month to scrapbook. The hostess told me that they would be happy with cards or scrapbook pages or anything that I did. So we made two cards and a scrapbook page element. My page element is still drying (I heat set theirs and gave the hostess my sample), so I'll show you that tomorrow, but for now, here are the two cards, and a bonus sample I made to show them.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This first card was made using the Sending Happy Thoughts Simply Sent Card Kit. I wanted to do something different than the two samples that come with the kit, so I came up with this card and the sample below to show the versatility of these kits.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
The second card is my favorite! I CASEd this idea from Sheryl Dickinson over at Stamp with Sheryl. Here's her beautiful card. I don't have the photo corner punch, so we made our own photo corners using the 1/4" and 3/4" square punches. You punch the small square first, then center it in the bigger square and punch, then cut it in half diagonally for two corner accents.

Ok, THAT was an editing NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All those dashes are just my attempt to space the words down below the pictures. YIKES!

Sweet wishes!

Beautiful! My fave is the Blossoms Abound-it goes so well with the "Prints" paper!
