So while I was home getting ready for my New Catalog Open House, everyone else went to visit a fossil site in Gray, TN. Here they are at the entrance to the
Gray Fossil Museum.

Since I didn't go along, there's not much I can tell you about the pictures, but this one was cool looking.

Then there was a play area that resembled a dig site. And there were permanent bones that you could "excavate" and identify by some pictures on the wall.

They went through the first half of the museum and then went on a guided tour of the dig site to watch some real paleontologists dig for bones. A few small bones had been found that day and they were able to see and touch them. Then they went back to finish the museum. There is a
special exhibit there right now called "The scoop on poop." Apparently this particular machine produced different kinds of flatulent sounds, which the boys obviously enjoyed.

And, as is always the case, boys will be boys. Even the "big boy" found much humor in this exhibit. Yep, that's
Pastor Michael:

Sweet wishes!
